1 The defendant, Jim Cox, was charged by an information filed in the Superior Court of Comanche County with the crime of murder, was tried, found guilty of manslaughter in the first degree and pursuant to the verdict of the jury was sentenced to serve a term of 10 years in the penitentiary. Present counsel for accused did not appear at the trial. The attorneys who represented the accused during the trial withdrew after the sentence was pronounced and the appeal was perfected.
